Yes. While we can direct bill treatments to most insurance companies, some companies or policies do not accept it for a variety of reasons. Please bring an additional form of payment in the case that your insurance company denies direct billing. A receipt will be provided which the patient will then have to send to the insurance company for reimbursement.
No. While our services are mostly used to treat pain, we have many patients who come for other reasons including: relaxation, improved circulation, stress and muscle tension relief, posture correction and improvement to overall wellness.
However, if you are going through extended health insurance, they may require a valid medical referral for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company for more information.
Yes. We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or date changes to appointments. No shows or any notifications in less than 24 hours will be charged $30 before a new appointment can be made.
Yes. Upon your first appointment, please bring a valid claim number, provided by your car insurance company, along with your insurance adjuster's name and telephone number.
Yes. If you get injured at work, notify your employer and initiate a claim with WSIB. Obtain a claim number, provided by WSIB, and then book an appointment with our physiotherapist.
It is a good idea to arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment to fill out the appropriate intake forms for your practitioner. Your practitioner will then sit down and chat with you privately before starting the appropriate treatment tailored to you.
